Free Outback Steakhouse Meal

So a little while ago while Lance and I were watching tv and a commercial came on for Outback Steakhouse, saying they were giving away free steak meals to the first 100 people to go to their website and click on the free steak meal promotion. So of course both lance and I got online and clicked on the promotion to get a free steak meal. We found out that, naturally, only one free steak meal could be redeemed per house hold, little did they know lance's parents don't live to far so Lance used our address and I used his parents address and a few weeks later we both got our free steak meal cards in the mail. We realized that the card could only be used Monday-Thursday which works for us so we went on a Wednesday night. I had read on the back of the card that only one card could be used per meal but we brought both cards thinking what harm could there be just to ask if we could use both. So when we got to the restaurant we asked our server if we could use both and he said over course we could and was real cool about it and gave us all the ins and outs about the best way to use the deal. So we both got our steaks, a side and then we each added on this coconut shrimp (which cost $4 each to add on). In the end the only thing we paid for was the coconut shrimp plus tip, a total cost of $12 for two steak dinners, which was a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

Madly in Love

Lance and I met in our singles ward at an apartment complex called Old Mill in Provo (crazy I know). Lance served his mission in Arizona and has said he wanted to marry a girl from Arizona every since he served there. The first Sunday at any singles ward they have everyone stand up and introduce themselves. So when I stood up I introduced myself and said I was from Arizona, and that was it, Lance was smitten. We ended up being on the Family Home Evening Committee together and that's where it all began. Lance pursued me for about a month before I finally came around and realized I couldn't let this guy go. We dated for 6 months before Lance proposed to me and we were engaged for 2 months before we got married and sealed for all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on June 10, 2011. It's crazy to think we've only been married 4 months but they have been the best 4 months and I know its just going to get better and better as the years go.

Let's get this blog started!!

So it's official, I'm finally starting a blog. I figure Lance and I have been married 4 and a half months now so its about time I start one. I've always thought I'd like to have a blog when I got married not only to keep friends and family updated on our lives but help me and my poor memory by treating it like a journal. I'm going to try my best to keep up on this thing (and It will help that my mom will be asking me frequently when I'll have a new post) :) Another good thing about starting a blog is it helps to remind me and Lance to take lots of pictures, especially when we do things. We have slacked off on that more then we'd like, so the fact that people are expecting us to have new posts with PICTURES will help. So here we go.....
