Our sweet 5 month old

No matter how hard I try to stop it or how much I don't want it to happen my little boy is growing up so fast. I've been behind on these month to month posts about Nixon so I decided to combined month 4 and 5.

Here's whats going on with our little 5 month old...
He really enjoys being outside (plus he looks so cute in this hat)

Hanging out with his cute cousin Nathan

He enjoys going swimming

He likes playing in his toy saucer now. He doesn't last too long in it because he is a baby who above all just likes to be held. He would rather be playing and interacting with people then playing by himself.

Still loves bath time - he's all smiles even when he gets out of the tub. It's so cute to see him kick his feet and realize that the water splashes when he does that.

He's starting to talk a lot more! I love when I talk to him and he smiles and talks right back. Even when I tell him to talk he will! Let's hope this obedience sticks with him as the years go.

He's also laughing a lot more! We can't get enough of his cute little laugh.

He has two teeth! The first three pictures were taken when he was 4 months old and only had 1 tooth poking out with the second one barely breaking through the gums. But now (the very bottom picture) he has both teeth clearly sticking up and it's so cute to see them when he smiles.

(4 months old) I tried to get a good picture of his teeth...

but he kept sticking his tongue out

The only way we could get a good picture was when he was crying
but now he is all smiles and showing off those cute teeth

He loves looking in the mirror

He's getting better at rolling over. He's good at rolling over from back to stomach, but he doesn't like staying on his stomach for very long. He then cries until I roll him back over because he's to mad to do it himself.

In this video he was being camera shy and took his time rolling over.

I love the positions he falls asleep in. I also worry more now because he travels all over his crib while he sleeps and I worry he'll hurt himself.

I think it's so cute when he falls asleep on his side
Feet up

I love this picture because you can see where I put him down originally (where the
blanket is at) and where he ended up the next morning.

He's starting to chunk out a little more. He's not the chunkiest baby but he still has a cute chunky belly and legs.

He loves hanging with dad.

Lance isn't asleep in this picture, just caught him blinking :)

This is their new trick- which scares mom every time

He loves bouncing. Whether in your arms or in this bouncer. It takes him a little time to realize he can bounce in this thing but once he figures it out he loves it.

He's eating rice cereal now, and actually seems to enjoy it. He's still trying to understand the whole concept of eating something off of a spoon, but he's getting the hang of it.

Sometimes he prefers his hand

Water bottle fun

4 month check up and shots

I got this cute little outfit from my baby shower and took some new born pictures with him in it. When I was taking his 4 month pictures I found this outfit and realized this would probably be the last time he would fit into it and that I needed to take some photos. It's crazy how big he is and how much he has changed since he was a newborn! Again he's growing up TOO FAST!

One thing our little guy got from both his parents is his white/fair skin,
He'll probably curse us for that when he's a teenager.

This little stud muffin is such a happy, smiley baby and we absolutely love it! We have loved every second we've had with this little guy in our lives! He is so sweet and brings smiles to every one he meets.
