Lance & Brittney: Highland pond

By our apartment there is a cute little pond that we decided to check out one day with Lance's family. One of the main reasons we went was to fish. My sister in law's kids have never fished before and it was on there summer to do list so we had to do it. Lance got it all set up and each kid took a turn casting out. After about one try each and no bites they were bored and wanted to swim instead. I don't blame them for wanting to swim over fishing, I find it rather boring myself. :)

Lance got this inflatable boat a few summers ago and accidentally put 2 holes in it. He got a patch kit hoping that would do the trick, but sadly after the kids were in the boat for only 15 minutes the patch couldn't hold up any longer and started losing air. Lance was a little distraught about this.

After the pond we came back to our place and had Lance's famous chicken. I got this winger sauce recipe off pinterest and tried it back when Nixon was first born and we loved it! Ever since then that has become our go to meal when we get together with family and friends.
