Birthday celebration

Lance's sister Sarah had a birthday while her family was visiting from China. We of course had to celebrate!

It's pretty much a common thing to build these amazing cakes out of fondant for people's birthday's in Lance's family. I'll have to hire one of my sister-in-laws to make all of my kids cakes because I have no creative ability to do them myself.

This is the cake my sister-in-law Megan made for Sarah. Megan made this cake to represent everything Sarah. The cake is round and is decorated as the world. One of the green island's represent the U.S and the little blue and pink things are the 4 kids she had here. The other green Island is China, where they currently live, and a little baby boy she had while in China. There is an airplane because they have to take a few airplane flights just to get to and from China, and a gray structure that represents the Hong Kong temple. Very impressive cake right?!

It was a perfect windy day to fly a kit

Glad we got to celebrate your birthday with you Sarah!
